Card for Every Occasion
Hello Everyone – I have a card for every occasion to share with you today.
The house was quiet today. I miss the girls even though I am tired from their visit. I don’t get to see them as often as I would like and with school starting up soon it is even less time that I would get to see them if I go to visit them. They are growing so fast and this visit was so much fun as we did some fun things while they were here. To be honest I could take them to the pool every day and they would love it. I will be on the hunt for some fun things to do on their next visit!
I saw a card on Facebook that caught my eye and knew I had to make my version. The original card used the Dahlia Sale-a-bration stamp set and I do not have that. I went looking for what I had I could use instead.
I used the same colors and layout of the card I saw online. I did make some changes from my card to the original. The original had used a piece of pattern paper to divide the bottom layer from the top section. I chose to use ribbon. I had to use the black and white gingham as it is my favorite ribbon right now.
For the stamp set, I did not have a large flower like the dahlia so I opted to use an image and make 3 of them to cluster like the large flower. For my sentiment I wanted a general one that would allow me to use the card for any occasion. I seem to use the “Smile” in the Daisy Lane stamp set a lot and knew it would work for my card. Here is my version of a card for every occasion.
