Stampin’ Up Pierced Blooms Dies
Happy Friday Everyone – I have an adorable card to share today that uses the Stampin’ Up Pierced Blooms dies.
I have been busy with some issues with the house. A week or so ago the workers building the house across the street cut the electric lines. The court was without electricity for about 3 hours. When it came back on some of my appliances and lights would not come on. I checked my circuit box and one whole side of my fuses were tripped. I flipped all the switches and thought that had taken care of everything. The next morning I went to use my cooktop and it would not come on. I check the switch for it and it was not tripped. I tried a couple of things and it still would not work. I have called a repairman and they are coming out next Wednesday. I am hoping there is a safety switch that was tripped and not something more serious. Either way if the tripping of the cooktop is a result of cutting the line, I will be contacting the Developer to see what we can work out.
I love using my dies to create cards. The flower dies are fun to combine to create fun images. Adding some pattern paper with a die cut edge adds more interest. I used those ideas for my card today.
I love the polka dot pattern in the You’re a Peach pattern paper collection. I used it along with the Basic Borders dies to create a fun pan for my card. The ribbon adds some texture for more interest.
Now all I need to do is create my flowers. I die cut several of the flowers and then started layering them to create my flowers. The leaves were added and then the flowers were attached to my card front using glue dots or dimensionals. Look at how pretty this Stampin’ Up Pierced Blooms dies card turned out.
I love playing with the Pierced Blooms dies. This idea uses these dies along with a fun way to use ribbon. This card uses some pattern paper for the color and white for the flower.
