Card Share – Different use for a set

Good Morning Everyone!

Well with Labor Day behind us we can now focus on the holidays.  Do realize Christmas will be here before we know it.  I am planning my Christmas stamp-a-stack which will be in October and November.  I have my cards made just need to pick dates and notify my ladies.

My card today was for 2 challenges.  The first was a Design Challenge at SUDSOL.  We had to use a holiday set in a way different from what it was intended.  Can you guess which set I used?

The second challenge I used to create my card was the sketch challenge at Fab Friday

When I began with the Design Challenge I pulled out my mini and started looking at the sets to see what could be found in them.  One of them reminded me of flowers so I went with that idea.  Here is what I created for both challenges.

So what do you think of my card?  Did you figure out what set I used?  I used the Festive Flurry snowflake set.  I just used mt marker to ink up parts of the snowflake to get my flower.  How about you, can you use a holiday set to create something other than it was intended for?  Share you creation with me as I’d love to see it.
