Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge – Summertime Butterfly

Happy Labor Day!

So I spent yesterday working on one of my college classes.  I had to do my Power Point for class this week.  I got most of it done but it took all day.  Today I will work on the other one.

I did take some yesterday evening to work on some projects.  I am trying to work ahead with my posts so I have my cards for the month done.  Then I am not feeling pressure to plan for my class as well as have a post for you.

Today’s creation is for Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.   We had a great sketch to work with.  You can see it below.

I decided to pull out some of ds paper I had not played with in a while for this one.  I love the look the Gingham Garden paper gave my card.  It is so bright and cheery!  Here is what I created.

Isn’t that a fun card?  I just love the gingham and flowers together – note to self, use it more!  Want to see the other projects the design team created?  Head on over to Mary Jo’s blog and check them out.  Then show us what you can do with this sketch!

Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!

  1. What type of classes are you taking. I don't know how you do it all–I am tired just knowing you, lol. I love this bright and fun card. Thanks so much for another fabulous sample for my sketch challenge this week!
