CAS – Flourishes Hi

Hello Everyone!

Well the weather did not cooperate for me today.  It was dreary all day.  It did start to clear up this evening.  That is okay as I started to do some cleaning.  I pulled out a bunch of stuff in my closet and went through it.  I either will donate or throw it out as it is not going back in my closet.  I also pulled a bunch of retired paper and stamps out.  I matched up the patterned paper to card stock and will list them in my etsy store.  I will also list the retired sets I have for sale there also.  I need to get rid of stuff!

My card today was inspired with the color challenge at Stampin’ Royalty.  When I saw the colors I knew I wanted to give them a try.

I also wanted to do the sketch at CAS – Clean and Simple Colours and Sketches.   I loved the look of this sketch.

I have done so many holiday cards lately that my other stamps were feeling neglected.  I decided to use some of my other sets and create an All Occasion card for my post today.  I wanted to use some patterned paper so I pulled out my Moonlight and Subtles ds paper.  After I had my pieces made and had them laying on my card, it seemed “naked”.  I decide to emboss the other side of the card to add some interest.  Here is what my final project looked like.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I have a lot to get done as I need to do some more organizing and listing my items so I can turn on my Etsy shop.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

  3. Beautiful card! Love the embossing on the right side but feel that it was still beautiful as it was. Love the color combo and any CAS card!
