Fall Crayon Resist

Well the weekend is almost here! Does everyone have some great plans for the weekend? I will be stamping up a storm as I need to make Thanksgiving cards to send to my son-in-law’s unit as well as Operation Write Home (formerly Cards for Heros). You will be glad to know that I sent my son-in-law 61 cards (most of them were Halloween cards) and 56 cards to Operation Write Home (again most of them…

The Last Days of Summer

I think we are seeing the final days of summer here in Maryland. The weather the past 2 days has been in the low 80’s but a change is headed our way. A Challenge

Okay I was able to make a couple of cards yesterday. It felt good to create and not mass produce. I will be doing some more mass producing but later in the week. Today’s card used the sketch from the Caardvarks blog along with the color challenge from the Color Throwdown blog. Caardvarks had 3 sketches to choose from. I chose to use sketch 2. The required colors to use were Close to Cocoa, Pumpkin…

MIA

Good Morning! Have you wondered why I have been missing in action lately? Well I have been busy mass producing Halloween cards. I wanted to send some to the Cards for Heros group but I also have adopted my son-in-laws unit in Afghanistan. He said there are about 20 guys in his unit and they have a 2 mile walk to get cards so I told him I would make cards and send to him…
