Something Out of the Ordinary

Well today’s card is a little out of my ordinary style. I had wanted to do the Cuttlebug challenge on their blog. I checked it out and it was to use watercoloring to emboss or deboss. So I chose my embossing folder and pulled out one of my Kaleidacolor pads and inked up the inside of the folder. I ran my paper in the folder through my Cuttlebug and liked the effect. Then I had…

A White Sport Coat and a Pink Carnation

I am really going to date myself here, but the entire time I was making this card I kept singing this song. When I chose my flower die, the patterned paper, and the scrumptous ribbon all I could think of was Prom night. The challenge at Clear Dollar Stamps is to create any card or project and use pearls (pearls, pearlized paper, pearlized embossing powder, etc.). I had this vision of using die cuts to…

Prairie No Time to Stamp black

Like that title? This card is another one for Sharon’s black challenge. I am definitely loving this challenge. I have to admit I am trying more color challenges lately as I like this challenge for a change of pace. Today’s card uses Amy’s/ sketch challenge. I did flip the sketch a little since my image as pretty large. Here is Amy’s sketch and my card. inside of card Stamps: Garden Silhouettes, Circle of Friendship (both…
