Challenge 4 for World Card Making Day
Hello everyone – I have a card I made using Challenge 4 for World Card Making Day to share with you today.
Simple layouts are fun to play with. You can change the dsp, change the image, use different dies, and add an embossed background and your card will look different each time. For today’s idea I used the Inked Botanicals dsp but you could easily use what you have in your stash. A simple layout but such a pretty card.
One of my favorite embossing folders is the exposed brick one. I love the texture it gives to a card. Look at this folder and all the texture you can get on your cards.
I love sparkle and the loose silver sequins and Silver and White sheer ribbon add the perfect touch for this card.
To color an image with more than 1 color use your markers. You can quickly color different parts with whatever color you want!
I have used the image from the Inked & Tiled stamp set quite a bit and most of the time I use my markers to color it. Look at this idea that uses Berry Burst with Shaded Spruce for the flower. For a Fall idea I used Daffodil with Crushed Curry.
