Happy Friday Ladies!
I hope everyone is staying warm! The northeast has been hit with another snowstorm. Our area is not going to get much but we do get the cold weather. I don’t mind the cold weather as long as we have the snow to go with it. We need some snow to go with this cold!
My card today is for the Chat and Challenge I am hosting on SUDSOL later today. I get to determine the challenge and I decided to challenge stampers to use a snowflake.
For my card I tried a technique I saw online. It used Crystal Effects that you water down and then stamp with. I was not trilled with the effect. I am not sure if my paper was too dark or what. After I finished it I decided to add a vellum snowflake. The white background is actually a dried baby wipe. I like the soft look it gives the card. To finish it off I added some silver ribbon. Here is my creation for the chat.

I made another magic envelope for this card using retired paper. I am loving the envelope punch board as well as this magic envelope tutorial to help use up some of my retired paper. If you have a lot of retired ds paper this is a great way to use some of it.
Thanks for visiting me today. I hope you enjoyed my card. Have a Fabulous Friday!
