Clean and Simple Christmas Card

Hello Everyone ~ are you ready for a Clean and Simple Christmas Card idea?

December 25th is fast approaching and if you are like me you are quickly running out of time.  I am always looking for gifts, cards, and even recipes that are efficient and don’t take a lot of time.

Since I still need a few Christmas Cards to send out I wanted something that I could create in about 15 minutes.  The Clean and Simple Christmas Card fits that bill.  Using a Whisper White card base, I added some embossing using a folder which will add some interest without a lot of layers making for a clean look.

To keep my layers simple I used some designer series paper.  I chose 2 patterns from the same collection of papers.  Using the same collection means your papers coordinate and it did not take a lot of trial and error to find them.  This is makes designing your card efficient taking little time to choose the patterns.

Finally using a simple image means you can quickly stamp the panel and add it to your card base.  Another time saver as it requires just a few ink colors.

Finally using simple shapes like rectangles makes cutting your layers a speedy process.  Putting all the pieces together gives you a beautiful card like the Clean and Simple Christmas Card like the one below.

Features of the card

  • Tree Angle
  • card base ~ Whisper White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″   and   2 3/8″ x 2 3/8″
  • Mossy Meadow ~ 3″ x 3″
  • Heartwarming Hugs dsp ~ 3″ x 4″ – green pattern   and   1 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ red snowflake pattern
