Hello Everyone ~ today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop!
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather! It has been so cool and a slight breeze but sunny. I have enjoyed walking in the evening! We have one more day before we get rain. I am hoping I will be able to walk in between the showers!
Today we have the Coloring Down the Line blog hop. Check out these beautiful colors we had to choose from.
Stampin’ Up color matches
I loved these colors but decided to use the Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate, and Wisteria Wonder. I thought I would do some watercoloring. I took my piece of watercolor paper and I inked my stamp up with Versmark and then stamped it in the Memento Tuxedo Black. I stamped my paper and sprinkled on clear embossing powder. I heat it set the powder. The paper was taped down to my board and I spritzed the paper with water. I added some ink refill to the lid of the stamp pad and picked up some of the ink with the aqua painter. I touched it to my image where and wanted the color and let it spread. I repeated this process until my entire image was colored. I let it dry and then could assemble my card. Some of my ink bled over the embossing. I think it was because my paper was warped from heating it. I need to see what I can do next time to avoid this. Here is my finished card.
