Coloring Down the Lines – Spring Tulips

Happy April Fool’s Day!

Can you believe it is April already?  Back in January and February when we were dealing with snow I don’t think any of us thought April would ever get here.  I am hoping this weekend will be sunny so Zoie can go outside and hide eggs.

Well there is only 1 more day to the Color Challenge.

I don’t know what I will do for my last coloring challenge.  I will have to think on it today so I know what to do tonight.  Today I actually did 2 different types of coloring.  The first was coloring on the back of vellum.  To take my picture I put white card stock behind the vellum.

The other one was I used reinker to color the background for my card.  I used watercolor paper and spritzed it with water.  I then used my aqua painter to pick up reinker and color on the page.  I forgot to take my picture before I put my card together so you will have to check out my card to see it.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.   This week our colors were chosen by Liz.

Aren’t those tulips just gorgeous?  I wish I could have some in my yard but the moles eat the bulbs.  I used some of the colors to make my vellum flowers.  I use the 2 greens to do my background.  Here is my card for our colors this week.
