Hello Stampers!
I hope you had a great day yesterday. I had a request for cards and a box and I worked on that. I have it ready to deliver today. I took some pictures that I will share later.
Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop. Since July 4th is a few days away we decided to use a Red, White, and Blue Color combo with the added piece of a Celebration theme.
I had seen several cards that had used the Work of Art stamp set to make flags. I decided I wanted to try my version of one. I punched out a heart using post-it note and put it on the card. I then stamped the large scribble on top. When I removed the post-it I had a heart shape in the middle. I then used the strip to form the stripes of the flag. When it was all finished it needed something so I took my glitter pen and traced around the shapes to make it sparkle. Here is my version of the flag.

I also stamped some stars on the front of the envelope but I wanted to show you how I lined the envelope. I found directions on Pinterest. Basically you take a square based on the size of your envelope and round 3 of the corners. Then all you have to do is attach it to the inside of the envelope. I had tried this before but never been successful as I was over thinking the process. This is so easy!
Are you ready to see what the other ladies on the hop created? Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she did with the challenge.
Thanks for visiting me today. I will be working on my Convention swaps again today. I need to get a few completed and my Stampin’ Up order comes today so I will have the necessary supplies to finish up the few that are almost done. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
