Hello Everyone!
Well yesterday was not as productive as I had hoped. Zoie had a doctor’s appointment yesterday so she did not go to the other grandmother’s but was here all day. Needless to say I did not get a chance to work on my swaps. Today I am going with Jess to the vet. She has to take Lily back for a check up and since it is a 2 – 2 1/2 hour ride she would welcome the company.
My card today is my punch art for Zoie. Since the weather got warmer she has been watching for butterflies. She kept asking where they were. I have butterfly bushes right outside the windows in my sunroom so we have a perfect viewing area. Well they finally arrived and she has been super excited.
Currently we have to white swallowtail ones. The tiger swallowtail have not come yet. I thought it would be fun to make a punch art card of the white swallowtail. I began by cutting a doily from black. I then punched some white hearts and used the doily to punch a heart also. I ran the doily hearts through the xyron and applied it to the white hearts. This formed the wings of the butterfly. I then punched out the body using the retired build a blossom punch. Then I just had to put the card together. Here is the final creation.

I am hoping we get back a little early tomorrow so I can work on my swaps. Time will tell.
