Coloring Down the Lines – Friends

Good Morning Everyone!

I am excited about the wreath that Candice and I made yesterday.  I did not have enough light yesterday to get a photo so I will get one today and post it tomorrow.  After doing this one I am going to get the supplies and try a Halloween wreath.  I use to have a wreath on my front door for each month.  For those I had used grapevine wreaths but my door has direct morning sun and the heat between the storm door and inside door caused the glue to melt.  I am hoping this will work as there is no glue!

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  Our colors this week were chosen by Liz

Stampin’ Up color matches

Aren’t these colors great?  I just love them.  When I looked at them I thought of butterflies as you could combine the pinks and purples for 2 toned ones.

I saw a great sketch that I thought would be make a great card that would be easy to mail.  The sketch at Sunday Stamps was a great one and this is a new challenge blog for me.

I pulled out my stamps and colors.  After I had them stamped, I decided to add my sentiment in the lower corner.  I love the stamp in Garden in Bloom but only the “Friends” part.  I used a post-it to mask off the rest of the sentiment and inked it up.  I then took off the post-it and stamped it on my card.  I then just needed to add my ribbon and mount it on my card base.  Here is my finished creation.

Now it is time to hop on down to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what fabulous creation she came up with.  Check out all the ladies and leave them some love!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am hoping to do some cleaning and some creating today.  I hop the cleaning does not take too much time that I cannot create!  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
