Hello Everyone!
I had my Retirement Village ladies yesterday. I go once a month and make cards with them. They enjoy making the cards and are often amazed they can create a beautiful card with very little effort. I love seeing their face when they are all finished and talk about how beautiful their card is and that they made it themselves.
I am continuing with the 30 Day Color Challenge.
I saw a technique that I wanted to play with. I tried the technique on 2 different kinds of paper – regular card stock and watercolor paper. All the videos I looked at the people used card stock. I have to admit my card stock is not the look I was going for. I also did the technique using watercolor paper and it has the look I was hoping for.
Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop. This week our colors were chosen by me.
Stampin’ Up color matches
I decided to check out my challenge blogs and found a simple sketch challenge at Clean & Simple Stamping.
When I looked at this one I automatically knew what I wanted to do. It was so easy to create a clean and simple card. Here is what I created using the sketch and our colors.

Now it is time for you to head on over to Carol’s blog – Carol’s Cards to check out her project. Then make sure to keep hoping and check out the other ladies creations.
Thanks for visiting me today. I am hoping to play a little today after I meet with my friend Candice. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
