Coloring Down the Lines – Old Olive

Happy 4th of July!

So what are your plans for today?  I am going to spend the day in my craft room and tonight I will set up for my workshop tomorrow.  They are predicting storms for us since it is hot and humid.  The weekend is supposed to be back in the 100’s.  It is too hot for me!

Wednesday means it is time for our Coloring Down the Lines challenge.  We are working our way through the Color Coach.  Today’s color is Old Olive.  This is the last color in the Brights and we will be moving on to another collection next week.

Our choices this week were Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze OR Old Olive, Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy.  I chose to use the second color combination.

I also used a sketch challenge from Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenges

I changed the layout to portrait to make it work for me.  I also added an element at the top.  Here is my creation.

Are you ready to see what the other ladies from chat created using Old Olive?  Hop on over to Amanda’s blog to see what she did with the challenge.

Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful July 4th Wednesday!

  1. I LOVE it, Robbie! Have a happy 4th!

  2. So nice. I love the backgrounds peeking from behind the flowers, gives them nice depth. And adding the extra flower finishes it nicely. Great job.

  3. Happy 4th Robbie!
