Good Morning Everyone!
I read some interesting news yesterday. The British weather monitoring service has predicted a major snowstorm for Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland area. The local people are saying the do not think this will happen. I guess we will see. I for one would love a big snow storm!!!!!!
Wednesday is our Coloring Down the Line blog hop. This week our challenge was
Our added Piece this week was to do a new to you technique.
I have to admit I wasn’t certain what I was going to do so I went looking on Splitcoast. After searching for a while I found a tutorial for Magic Snowflake. I decided to give this one a try. I pulled out my Marina Mist and Pool Party and realized after doing it I was not getting the contrast I needed so I added some Night of Navy. I had it all finished and loved the look when I realized duh you have to use the colors from our blog hop. So I went back and redid the technique using our blog hop colors. After redoing the main image, here is what I created using the colors from our hop.
inside of card and envelope
The picture seems a little light for some reason. It did not look this way when I added my watermark. So are you ready to see what techniques the other ladies did using these colors? Hop on over to Amanda’s blog Our Crafty Playdate to see what she created. I am sure she will share a fun technique with you.
Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
