Coloring Down the Lines – punch out

Hello Everyone!

I thought we were going to get some storms last night that would affect my walk.  They passed to the east of us so I was able to get it in.  Zoie wanted to go with me so I had Jess put her in the stroller and off we went.  She was very talkative and asked tons of questions during the walk.  It made the time pass quickly.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week our colors were chosen by Sandy.

I felt they matched these SU colors the best.

Our added piece this week was to use a cut out.

I loved the swirl of colors so I decided to use my waterspray technique to see if I could get the blended colors.  I usually use my glass mat but this time I used my teflon sheet.  While I got some swirling I think the glass mat is a better surface for me.

Since we had to use a cut out I checked out my framelits.  I thought it would be fun to use the Apothecary Accents framelit and add some flowers in the cut out.  I saved the cut out piece and used it inside.  To finish it off I added a double bow.  After I had it attached, I think I put it on upside down.  Here is my creation.

Are you ready to see what the other ladies have created using these colors and how they used a cut out?  Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she created.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am packing up office this week as we are getting new carpeting next week.  Since I will be with my sister next week I have to have my office ready to go.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Nice spraying. I can't seem to get anything but blobs. And a double bow, so pretty. Of course you always have great ideas and do a super job. I love to see how you finish it off with matching inside and envelope. What a great set.

  2. Very pretty design and colors!
