Coloring Down the Lines – Rose Red

It’s Wednesday which means the week is half over.  Hope your first part has been great and the end will be just a nice!

We have a small blog hop this week.  Several of our ladies have been on vacation and one has been fighting a virus.  But if you are like me a small hop is as good as a big one.

Our challenge this week was to use

Rose Red, Not Quite Navy, River Rock

OR

Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant, Baja Breeze

I decided to use the second combination to challenge myself.  I also combined it with the sketch challenge at Utah Divas International

Here is what I created.

inside of card and envelope

I created the layers by sponging on the ink.  I love the look on the panel on the card.  I also used white as the matting layer to make it pop on the Eggplant.  Now it is time to head on over to Carol’s blog – Carol’s Cards to see what she did with the color challenge.

Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
