Hello Ladies!
I don’t know about you but I seem to get busier and busier no matter what I do to catch up. I so need a day to play and relax!
Are you ready for a new technique? Over at Hand Stamped Sentiments my fellow design team member Dawn found new technique – at least it is new to me.
I wasn’t sure how to do this technique so I looked it up on Splitcoast Stampers and found a tutorial here. I started looking through my embossing folders and ran across the snowflake one so that is the one I went with. I used Bashful Blue ink but the brayering makes it look darker than I would have liked. You really have to rub the crayon on the cardstock as you can see from my inside piece it was not as good. Here is my creation.

I painted the snowmen and the snow on the ground with my shimmer paint. You should give this technique a try and play along with us this week. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
Robbie
Thanks, Robbie…I've read about this and have never tried it. Guessing it would not be good if you were doing a lot of them, but a card or two would be fun. TFS!
I love the snow people card, Robbie. How cute, and I love the way you colored them. Cute. Cute. Cute!
I LOVE your card, and what a perfect backdrop- snowflakes!! I can;t get my mind of Halloween yet… I am so glad you are on the team!

ooooo-I forgot about that folder! So many of mine are neglected. Love how you paired it with this stamp.
Robbie, I love how you colored the snowmen image and the background doesn't look too dark. Wonderful card.
