Happy Mid week Everyone!
Our weather has been gorgeous the past few days. It is so nice to have some sun and nice temperatures. I am hoping it will continue through the weekend since I am going away. I am headed to Winchester, Virginia for a knitting retreat. We are not far from an outside walking mall they have downtown so I am sure we will check out the shops.
Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop. This week our colors were chosen by me. I wanted some bright colors for a change.
Stampin’ Up color matches
I decided to use a sketch challenge for this one as I really liked the sketch at Fab Friday
I thought that the Summer Silhouettes set would be retired this year so I wanted to use it. As it turns out the set is not being retired. I stamped the leaf vine several times – I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the second vine so it looks like one long vine. Then I stamped the flowers and cut or punched them out. I arranged them on my background then glued them down. I cut a banner using the banner framelits and added it at the bottom then attached to my card base. I added a strip of Rich Razzleberry background paper stack. Then I tied my Island Indigo bakers twine in my button and attached to my card. Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today. I am headed to the yarn store today to plan our trip with Mary. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
Robbie
Really nice card, Robbie. You did a nice job with the colors.
Robbie – what a beautiful use of color – I love how you carried the details through inside the card and on the envelope – I'm a die-hard "no naked envelopes" stickler! Thanks so much for joining us at Fab Friday!
Very nice. I like the soft brown with the flowers, it blends so nicely! Thanks for playing at Fab Fri!
