Hello Ladies!
Wow I was on the run all day yesterday. I was really tired last night. I ended my day with 6 fabulous ladies who came to make our February cards. They had a good time and so did I! It was nice meeting some new stampers and helping them to have fun while stamping.
Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop. We had fun picture with matching colors this week.

That poor little bird looks so cold! He is so cute though! I recently saw a great splatter technique that I wanted to try. While my Smoky Slate ink was too watered down, I do like the look.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper. I splattered the Smoky Slate on first. Then I added a splatter of Basic Gray. I ended with a splatter of Pacific Point. You can spritz it with water a little to cause the colors to bleed but since my Smoky Slate was too watered down my bled and I decided not to spritz it.
I then attached it to my card base. I stamped the plane from Sky is the Limit. I inked up only a part of the clouds and off stamped them to make them a little lighter than full strength ink. I stamped the clouds to look like the were coming out of the back of the plane. I cut the plane and clouds out. I attached the cut out using dimensionals. My card was finished. Here is my completed card.

Now it is time to hop on over to Helen’s blog – Blue Dahlia Designs to see what she created using these colors. I am sure it will be fabulous. Then hop on down the line and check out the other ladies creations.
Thanks for visiting me today! I have some projects I need to work on for some orders I received. I will be very busy. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
