Coloring Down the Lines – Soft Sky

Hello Stampers!

Well the snow was a big disappointment for us.  It did not start snowing until around 1:30.  Then the flakes were tiny pellets.  At about 6 last night the grass was barely covered.  I really wanted the 6 – 8 inches they were calling for.  The wind blew quite a bit so the snow was actually coming down sideways.  Oh well maybe the next storm will be better.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  I am the start of the hop.  This week our color choices were

Soft Sky, Real Red, Garden Green

                     OR
Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride

Our added Piece this week was to have an embossed piece.

I went looking for a sketch and found one at Clean & Simple

I thought it would be fun to use tiny flowers for the circles on the background.  The creator of the sketch was planning on using sequins as her circle elements.   I used the second set of colors and I think it makes a very pretty spring card.  Here is my creation for our hop.

Are you ready to see what the other ladies did with our color challenge?  Head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see how she used the colors with the embossed piece.  I am sure she did a fabulous job.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you will take some time to play today.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
