Coloring Down the Lines – Summer Starfruit

Good Morning Ladies!

I hope you had a great day yesterday.  I had 2 ladies come over to make up a class they had missed.  We had a great time chatting.  I also had to make the added piece for my challenge today.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week our colors were

Summer Starfruit, Elegant Eggplant, Baja Breeze

                               OR

Summer Starfruit, Marina Mist, Real Red

This week our added piece was to make something other than a card – bookmark, flower, scrapbook page, etc.

I have to admit that I looked at this and immediately started thinking about a card.  I even had my card made and went back to look at it again and realized I needed to do something other than a card.  I decide since I had my card made already I would make a bookmark to go with the card as a special gift.  I used the design from the card to design my bookmark.  Here is what I created.

Since I began with the card I started with a sketch for the card so I went looking and found a great one at Clean & Simple stamping.

I thought this would be a great sketch to use as these colors are not ones I could think of something to do easily.  At least with this sketch I had a place to start.  Here is what I created.

So are you ready to hop on down the line and see what the other ladies created.  Remember it was not to be a card.  Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate will have a fantastic share for you.  She is the next stop on the blog hop.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you take some time for you today – whether it be time to create or time to relax.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
