Coloring Down the Lines – Thanks

Happy Mid week Stampers!

I hope you are having a good week.  I am taking this week to share some of my swaps from Convention as I want to make sure you have something to look at each day.  This will give me a chance to regroup and focus on my creations.  I do have my Holiday Mini preorder coming tomorrow so I am hoping to play with some of that.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  We have a full hop this week now that is everyone is back from Convention.  This week our colors were chosen by Helen.

Stampin’ Up color matches

Aren’t these great colors!  I love the combination.  I decided to play along with the Paper Craft Crew Challenges as I had not played with them in a while.

I loved this sketch and knew it would be perfect for my card.  I decided to color my doily with alcohol ink I made.  I loved the Pool Party and Lost Lagoon color combo so I used those for the half circle element.  I also used some of the new Subtles Color Collection paper stack.  The sentiment gave me a problem trying to find something small enough.  I finally found something I could use in Something to Say. Now my card was coming together.  Here is what I created.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Michaela and Josh are coming down today to spend a few days with us.  It will be good to see them again.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. Great card, Robbie. The half circle with the doily and tag over to one side is just a little different, and nice style. I may need to CASE this one. Good job.

  2. An eye catching card you have created for our challenge this week, Robbie. I love the smaller half circle and larger tag. It makes a real statement. Thanks for playing with us at the Paper Craft Crew. Crystal

  3. I really like how you coloured the Doily – I thought I had missed a new product! Thanks for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew! ~Deborah
