Coloring Down the Lines – Trees

Good Morning!

Well are you knee deep in preparations for tomorrow?  We will be baking pies, making our sweet potatoes, and doing the cranberries.  This way we only have a few things to make and we can enjoy the company.  How about you, will you be working on some of your goodies today?

My card today is for the Coloring Down the Line blog hop.  Here are the colors we had to work with this week.

Here are the Stampin’ Up colors we chose to use.

There was a lot of green and brown in our choices this week.  I decided to go looking for a sketch as it may give me some inspiration.  I found a simple one at The Paper Players.

I decided to go with a tree theme on this one.  I used embossing folders for the 2 backgrounds.  The rest came together very quickly.  Here is my version of their sketch.

I am curious to see what the other ladies did with these colors.  I wonder how many of them did trees also.  The next stop on the blog hop is Amanda at Our Crafty Playdate.  Hop on over to her blog and check out her interpretation of the colors.

Thanks for visiting me today.  There are a number of places on the East Coast that are supposed to get snow.  Unfortunately we will just get rain.  🙁  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
