Coloring Down the Lines – What I Love

Happy Mid-Week Stampers!

Well our school are finally opening back up today.  They are on a 2 hour delay but the kids have not been in school since last Thursday.  I am sure they are not happy about it.  There are even some places on my lawn that you can actually see the grass.  Hopefully that is it for the snow for us this year.  The temperatures are supposed to be in the 50’s by the weekend.  I know my electric bill will love it.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  We have a full slate of hoppers this time.  It has been a while with everyone being so busy.  This week we have a fun color challenge.

Is that outfit so cute!  Wish I could wear something like that.  Since I can’t, I will use the colors to make a great card.
I decided to use a cute Sale-abration set I got – What I Love.  I chose to use a little bit different color for the flowers.  I picked Marina Mist and Crumb Cake.  To do the flowers I used the larger solid image and inked it up.  I then off stamped it 2 times before stamping on my card stock.  I then used the other solid image and off stamped it 1 time before stamping it on top of the other flower I had stamped.  I used the outline image and inked it up and stamped it full strength on the flower already created.  That gave me the different shades I needed for my flower.  I created a couple of masks for the flower so I could stamp the leaf spray.  I used Crumb Cake for the leaves.  I went with pearls rather than rhinestones for something different on this card.  After I had my front panel stamped, I layered my ribbons.  I only needed to stamp my sentiment and punch it out.  Here is my final creation.
