I checked out the Colour Create blog for the colors this week. The colors to use were blue and green. In looking at my sets I ran across Simply Said and thought it would be fun to use this set.
I began by inking up the stamp and wiping off the green from the flowers. Then using a marker I colored the flowers blue. I stamped the image and mounted it on Bashful Blue and Green Galore. I wanted to add some patterned paper so I went looking through my stash and found a piece from a 6 x 6 pack. I mounted it on a piece of Bashful Blue that I had used the eyelet border punch on. I added ribbon and knew it needed something in the upper right corner. I was going to do a circle when I remembered the cute flowers you can make with the 5 petal punch. Pulled it out and made a flower for the outside and inside. Here is my creation.
