Sketch Set – A Little Late

Well I did not get my sketch set finished yesterday. My car was ready and I had to pick it up then I had to get a tool to get my tire back on my lawnmower. I have not cut my grass in over a week as I couldn’t get the tire on. I finally bought an $18 tool and got it on in 10 seconds. Why didn’t the guy at the garage tell me about the tool last week when I bought the tire? It would have made my life easier. Oh well enough ranting, on to the sketch set.

I decided I wanted to make some bright cheerful cards for this set. We have had rain or cloudy weather every day this week and I needed some “sunshine”. I pulled out my Rainbow Sherbert DS paper and got busy. Here are my cards.

My first card uses the sketch from Julee’s Mojo Monday Blog. It was a fun sketch to work with.

Here is my creation.

Stamps: Glad Friends, In My Thoughts (retired) Paper: Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise, white, Rainbow Sherbert DS Ink: Tempting Turquoise Accessories: ribbon (Michael’s), Metallic Dots (Card Embellishments), scallop border punch, sticky tape, dimensionals
My second card uses the sketch from Amy’s Prairie Paper and Ink blog. She has a guest sketch designer this week and this was a great sketch to use.

Here is my creation.

Card three uses the sketch from Tracy’s blog Eat Sleep Stamp. Her sketches are fun to work with – simple clean lines. I thought this one would be fun to use the Flight of the Butterfly set on.
