I saw on the Colour Create Blog that the color challenge this week is Black, White, and Pink. These are 3 of my favorite colors to use for very striking cards. While I was reading my blogs this morning I saw the sketch challenge on the Mojo Monday Blog and knew the 2 would be a good match.
A couple of years ago I bought the Uptown Girl paper from TAC. I pulled out my paper pack and found the perfect paper for my card so I began putting my card together. I had all my stamped elements layered as well as my patterned paper layers and laying on my card when I remembered some ribbon I had gotten as a free grab bag from Heidi at Pink Hedgehog. I was wondering if it matched so I pulled it out and it was a great match so I added it to the strip at the bottom. Once I had the card put together, I felt it needed something so I pulled out my Filigree brads and added on on the ribbon. I was happy with the finished creation. Here is the sketch and my creation.
