Hello Everyone ~ Wait until you see my newest card using the Come Sail Away Suite from Stampin’ Up creation today!
Well I went to the store and managed to get a new indoor/outdoor rug for my porch. I also found 2 lamps for my bedroom. I have been looking for a while and never could find something that I liked. I found 2 matching lamps and brought them home. The jury is still out on the lamps. I get my other night stand today so I want to wait and see what it looks like with both of them on either side of the bed. We did not get to go to Hobby Lobby as they are closed on Sunday. If I get time after the movers are done I may try and run over there to see if I can exchange my foam piece and get more as well as some material to cover them. Hopefully I can get some pieces to finish out Bijou’s cubby. Then I can move her crate out and she can use the cubby when I am gone. Cross your fingers for me. I also want to look for some pillow forms so I can make pillow for my bed. I am not sure they will have them but I am going to look.
I played again with the Come Sail Away Suite from Stampin’ Up. This is a new suite that you can purchase tomorrow. I had used the suite to make a set of 4 cards using a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder on my Facebook Live. The cards were great and easy to do. I thought I would play with the suite again and see what else I could make. I began with a base of Balmy Blue. I added a panel of Whisper White. The Balmy Blue striped pattern was one I did not use the other day so I used the 2 1/2″ circle punch (retired) to punch a piece. The Night of Navy baker’s twine was used to tie a Surgeon’s Knot like the one in the stamp set. I used the punched circle to determine the placement of the knot and stuck it down with a glue dot. I then attached the punched circle to the upper left hand corner. Using a scrap of Whisper White I colored the sailboat stamp with my markers and then used the coordinating framelit to cut it. out. The sailboat was attached to the punched circle using dimensionals. The suite has some trinkets also. It has anchors and ship’s wheels. A glue dot was used to attach one of the Ship’s wheels to the card next to the Surgeon’s Knot. The sentiment is from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set that is retiring tomorrow. It was stamped in Night of Navy and punched out with the 3/4″ circle punch (retired). A 1″ circle was punched from Night of Navy card stock and then the 2 circles were layered. The sentiment layers were added to the lower right hand corner using a dimensional. Here is the completed Come Sail Away Suite from Stampin’ Up.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. I am hoping most of the moving is completed by 1 but not sure. It would be better if it was completed earlier but not planning on it. Have a Marvelous Monday and will you be ordering the Come Sail Away Suite from Stampin’ Up?
