Creating your own stencil for a background idea
Happy Friday stampers – today we are Creating your own stencil for a background idea.
I am super excited! Yesterday morning I got to an e-mail from You Tube saying I had reached 1,000 subscribers. I knew I was close but did not expect it to happen so soon. I am planning a surprise so if you have not subscribed to my channel make sure you click to watch today’s video on You Tube and then subscribe! I am truly grateful for all of you!
Now on to today’s card. I was looking at my list of ideas for stenciling and saw the one I wanted to do. Then an idea hit me. I thought it would be fun to use a hexagon stencil and the bees. I checked all my stencils and not a hexagon one in them. Then I remembered I had a hexagon die in a retired set we used for our class this month. So I decided to pull it out and make my own stencil. Here is the card I made using the homemade stencil.
Here is the video showing how you can make your homemade stencils and then the card.
When you click the link above, choose “Watch on YouTube” and please subscribe so you get a notification there when I post new videos.
I have had fun playing with the bees. Check out this idea where I remade a card from a year ago and used the bees this time. This card uses the hexagon die from today as an element in the background.
If you have overlooked the Bee My Valentine thinking it is just for Valentine’s Day you are missing a great bundle. Check out the other supplies used for today’s idea.
