Cute and Simple!

Hello Stampers ~ I love cute and simple cards, how about you?

I took yesterday morning and worked on my sister’s drawers for her cabinet.  They had to be reinforced so she could put her punches in them.  I had to cut the boards with my dremel tool then glued them on the bottom of the drawer.  Today I will nail the boards to the back of the drawer for extra reinforcement.  Then I can deliver them to her.  I also did a lot of playing with some stencils.  I had lots of fun with it and still need to do at least 2 more.  I will look for ideas so I can finish them up.  I also need to make some videos today.  I have to take advantage of Zoie being at her other grandmother’s and a quiet house.

I saw this sketch challenge at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday and knew exactly what I wanted to do.

I thought the Swirly Birds bundle would make a great card.  I thought the waves die would represent the 3 blue strips.  Now I need to do the skewed rectangle.  I chose to keep the rectangle idea and for the star shape I used the sailboat which I stamped and cut out then mounted on dimensionals.  Before I glued all my pieces down, I used the Seaside embossing folder for the front cover.  I glued down all my pieces and my card was completed.  Here is my cute and simple card!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am anxious to get some videos created as well a few cards for later this week.  Then I need to do some weeding!  Have a Marvelous Monday and what is your favorite cute and simple card to make?
