Cute Homemade Card Idea

Cute Homemade Card Idea

Happy Friday Everyone – wait until you see this idea for a cute homemade card idea for a girl using the Counting Sheep.

Well did not get good news at the Vet. Bijou is totally blind. Have an appointment with an eye care vet next week for further testing to make sure nothing else is going on. I did some reading online and it says it takes a dog 6 – 8 weeks to adjust to being blind when it happens suddenly like hers. Working on a few things to help her adjust as best she can. Mainly it is things I need to do. I have to remember to not move quickly as she is usually near me and I could step on her. Hopefully I will adjust to that one as I usually go 100 miles an hour.

I saw this idea online and knew I needed to use it for today’s card. Someone had used the large daisy punch to make a tutu for the sheep. I used the new Shimmer Vellum and folded it in half for a full skirt. Once I had her colored and her tutu attached I thought she looked like she was walking on a balance beam so I used the fence as her beam.

All I needed to do was create my scene. I pulled in some Granny Apple Green pattern paper and tore the edge for a jagged look. I did not like the white edge to it so I sponged on some ink to hide it. I can’t wait to send this one to Remi also! What do you think of my cute homemade card idea?

Do you know a young girl who would love this card? I just love the tutu and the fact that she is walking the fence like a balance beam. See all the supplies for this cute homemade card idea.
Don't you love the attitude of this cute sheep? See how I gave her a tutu and have her walking a fence balance beam on my Cute Homemade Card Idea creation.

I seem to have a thing for animals to send to the girls. Check out this adorable pig card that I sent to Remi. I jumped on the slimline bandwagon with this card using the zebras that I sent to Zoie.
