Happy Monday Stampers ~ I played again with the new Daisy Delight Punch.
Well we had a great trip around the county yesterday as I showed the girls where I grew up and also where my mom grew up. They were fascinated with the Confederate War monument and how my mom use to cut the grass there. She also told us stories about how she use to see ghosts there when she cut the grass. Zoie was really interested and wanted to see some ghosts. It was very hard for her to understand you don’t usually see them in broad daylight. I have some photos of some orbs that were taken at local landmarks that I will share with her.
The daisy bundle is back in stock but not sure for how long. It is so popular that it sells out very quickly. If you want the bundle, let me know and I will add it to my order for you. I played with it again and came up with this idea. I began with a Whisper White card base and added a Night of Navy Lots of Label. I also added 2 strips of the Delightful Daisy dsp. I punched 2 of the daisies and used glue dots to adhere them together making sure to offset the petals. I punched two of the 7/8″ scalloped circles using Lemon Lime Twist. Using Scissors, snip between each scallop. Stack them using glue dots and offset the petals again. A 1/2″ circle punch was used to punch a Daffodil Delight circle. This was added to the center of the scallop circles. These were then added to the center of the daisies. A clear faceted gem was added to the center of the daisies. To finish off the daisy I used my bone folder to curl the bottom petals down and the top petals up. The daisy was then added to the center of the Label shape. 2 bees were stamped and then fussy cut out. These bees were added to the upper and lower corners of the label shape. I used a sentiment from a stamp set that is available for demos. I punched it out using the classic label punch. The sentiment was attached to the card using dimensionals. Here is my completed creation.
