Hello Ladies ~ Did you know my favorite flower is the daisy?
Well today we will be having fun shopping and they also have a surprise knitting project in store for us. It can’t be very large as we have to use size 2 or 3 double pointed needles and you only need 2 rather than the normal 5 you use when you use double pointed needles. Can’t wait to see what it will be. I might even take a walk on the beach if the weather is permitting.
I purchased the That’s the Tag bundle as I love the daisy. I decided to use the daisy die to create a fun stained glass effect. The frame was cut out of Basic Black. I also cut out a solid oval from the Sale-abration Bermuda Bay glimmer paper. Using the daisy die, I cut out the flower petals with white, the flower center with Daffodil, and the leaves with Olive. Using Tombow glue, I added dots of glue to the back of all the pieces. The glue was allowed to set some before adding the frame to the glimmer paper. The same procedure was used with the petals, flower center, and leaves. Once the oval frame was finished I used the flower frame to cut an oval out of the piece of Daffodil card stock. The Daffodil card stock was then attached to the Black. The flower frame was added into the cut out using Tear & Tape. A strip of black polka dot dsp was added to the front of a Whisper White card stock. The sentiment was stamped in the lower right hand corner with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. To finish the card the frame panel was attached using dimensionals. Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today. I love today’s card and will have a hard time sending it to someone. Do you have cards like that? Have a Super Saturday and I hope you liked my stained glass daisy!
