Detailed with Love Smiles from Stampin’ Up

Hello Stampers ~ I love Bermuda Bay and Black together so I used it for my Detailed with Love Smiles from Stampin’ Up creation.

Bijou had a good visit at the groomers.  I was glad as I now have a place I can take her for her grooming.  Now I am on the hunt for a place to get my hair cut.  That will take some time as I need to see what options are out there.  I also want to find someone who is familiar with fine hair.  I don’t want something done that will mean my hair is going to be a problem to take care of.  I will be checking out ladies to see what their hair is like and then asking them where they get it done.

I played with some of the Share What You Love designer series paper for my creation today.  I paired it with Bermuda Bay and Basic Black.  I cut a strip of the designer series paper and then a piece of Basic Black and using the Banner Triple punch I flagged the ends of both pieces.  The two were then mounted together.  I took some of the Basic Black solid Baker’s Twine and wrapped it around the strip twice and tied the ends in a bow.  This strip was mounted onto a Bermuda Bay card base.  The sentiment from the stamp set was stamped in Bermuda Bay onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  The Stitched Shapes framelits largest oval was used to cut it out.  The sentiment panel was added to the card base using dimensionals.  The flower image in the set was stamped with Bermuda Bay and then the framelit from Eastern Medallions thinlits was used to cut it out.  The image and thinlit match so it is easy to cut it out.  I also cut 2 of the shapes out using Basic Black.  The flower shapes were added to the left of the sentiment layer using glue dots.  To finish off the card, rhinestones were added to the center of the flowers.  Here is the completed Detailed with Love Smiles from Stampin’ Up creation.
