Diagonal Iris

Happy Friday Everyone!

Well I worked on my 3 x 3’s yesterday.  I spent a lot of time adding white ink to be the foam of the surf.  When the white dried it basically disappeared.  I am headed to Michael’s to get some gesso to see if that would work better.  Then I have to add some Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds.  This is a super cute little card!

I am sharing another iris card I made for my customer.  I saw her on Wednesday (she is actually my massage therapist) and she raved about the cards.  She loved them and knows that her sister will love them also.  I love it when I have a happy customer.

This card began with the diagonal piece.  I wanted to add it for some interest.  I used a retired embossing plate to create the pattern.  After that I just needed to color and cut out the iris.  Here is another one of the iris cards in the set.

I now know what I am doing for my pillow gifts.  I will work on those this weekend.  I am getting excited that the time is getting close.
