Zoie’s punch art – dragonfly

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I had a successful day yesterday.  I did have to watch Zoie quite a bit as Jess had a horrendous headache.  I managed to get my Black and White with a pop of color completed, my Tag swap is almost done (I have 2 that I put the ribbon on the wrong side), and I got the watercoloring for my 3 x 3 completed.  I am pleased but still have quite a few things to get finished.

Today is my punch art for Zoie.  A few days ago we saw a black and white dragon fly and she asked what it was.  We looked at it a little and then it flew away.  I thought I would make her a dragonfly to remind her of the one we saw.  I did a google search and came up with a site that had a picture of one I could use to make my version.  Here is the original site. 

I have coneflowers in the front of my house and that is where we saw them flying around.  I decided to make my version of my coneflowers also for my card.  Here is my version of both of the items.

I had fun making this dragonfly.  I tried some vellum for the wings to give it the transparent look.
