Die Cut Shapes for Card Making

Hello Everyone ~ have you thought about using Die Cut Shapes for Card Making?

I am always looking for ways to use my supplies in different ways.  The current trend is to use shaped masks to do some color blending.  I decided to use some of our dies to create my own mask and add some color to my card.

The cards I have seen online were interesting and I had to see if I could create the same look using our supplies.  Many of the cards used purchased masks but I thought I could use our dies and window sheets to make my own masks.

We have many great dies which can be used with window sheets to make masks.  That means the possibilities are endless.  The first set of dies I thought of were the Stitched So Sweetly dies.  Here is the video that explains how to create your mask and then use it to color blend on your card.

Features of the Card

  • card base ~ Melon Mambo – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
