Dragonfly Sprig

Hello Everyone ~ I have a Dragonfly Sprig card for you today.

I got the final approval of the birthday card order.  I started working on those yesterday.  I sponged all the flowers for the front of the cards.  Today after my workshop I am headed out to get a new printer.  I did not make it yesterday as I went with Jess to get the girls hair trimmed.  I need the new printer as I have to print out the inside of the card.  Then I can start assembling the cards in the afternoon.

Today my card began with the sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges

I wanted something besides the flower for that element.  I started looking at my stamp sets and opted for a dragonfly.  I began with a Whisper White card base that I stamped with dots in Bermuda Bay and Pear Pizzazz.  Using the Colorful Season bundle, I cut out the branch and stamped and cut out some flowers.  These were added to the card base with glue dots.  The dragonfly was cut out using Basic  Black card stock.  I mounted some Sale-a-bration glitter paper behind the wings.  The completed dragonfly was added to the card front using dimensionals.  When I had my card finished I realized it also fit the Insect challenge at Caseology

Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  It is going to get hot here starting today.  Perfect time to do some crafting your air conditioned craft room!  Have a Super Saturday and isn’t this Dragonfly Sprig very sparkly!
