An Elegant Christmas Card

While looking at my challenge blogs, I ran across a challenge at the Creative Belli blog to use Christmas Themed embellishments on your card. I bought this ribbon because I thought it would be so pretty on a Christmas card. I also knew it would match our Bravo Burgundy. I also saw a themed challenge on the Pals Paper Arts blog where you were to create a project for Christmas Cheer. I felt this ribbon also fit this challenge.

Now that I had my theme and my ribbon I went searching for a sketch. I saw a great sketch at Gretchen’s blog Inspiration in Action. All I had to do was create my card. When I saw the Dasher stamp in our catalog I thought it would be a beautiful Christmas card if you stamped the reindeer in Chocolate Chip and did his antlers in gold. I really wanted to try to gold emboss his antlers (and I still am going to try it) but I was tired and didn’t want to have to recreate it so I used gold Stardust gelly roll pen on them. Here is the sketch and my creation.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. It is one I have been wanting to make for quite some time. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
