Elegant Homemade Christmas Card
Hello Everyone – today’s Elegant Homemade Christmas Card uses vellum to make a beautiful poinsettia.

Have you ever seen a card that you wanted to try? Recently I saw a poinsettia made using vellum that I knew I had to try. I stamped the flower parts with White craft ink and embossed with White embossing powder. I then cut out the flowers with the coordinating dies. The layers were attached to each other using glue dots.

To figure out my card, I tried a red panel for the poinsettia but it did not look good. So I decided to use a white panel and ink blend some red on. To add some interest I used some glue to add some gold foil flakes. All the elegant homemade Christmas card needed was some gold shimmer ribbon.

I used the smallest flower image to decorate the inside of the card and envelope.

Here are some other ideas for elegant Christmas cards. This one uses the metallic mesh ribbon. The pink poinsettia on this card makes it so pretty.
