The end of the road

Well I have my last 2 cards to share with you.  I must say I enjoyed doing the challenges and it really stretched my creative side to work within a 45 minute time frame.  I also did not realize it but I found myself reaching for a lot of my old sets that I had not used in quite a while.  I may even recreate some of the cards in different colors just to see how they would look.

At 11 PM the challenge involved a new technique that I had not used.  We were to create a brayered batik background to put jungle animals on.  I really like the look of the background and will play with it some more for different looks.

The final challenge of the evening was to use a stamp set you had not used within the last 4 months.  I pulled out a set that I just love but had never used before.  I really like this card and can see me creating more to have on hand.

Here are my cards.

Here are the details.

For those of you who have stuck with me and checked my blog each day I thank you for your support.  I enjoy sharing my creations with you even if you don’t leave me comments!  I hope I have inspired you to try new things and that even if your card doesn’t turn out like you think it should have that it’s okay and you can still send it as it is an original and the person who receives it will think it is beautiful!  Thanks for looking and have a great day!
