An experiment

 Good Morning Ladies!

I am so excited.  My daughter is here to celebrate my birthday – yes today is my birthday.  We have plans to spend the day making Christmas cookies.  We both had not made ours so we decided to do a mass cookie baking!  Wish us luck as we have a lot to get done.

My card today is for the blue, white, and silver challenge at Late Night Stampers.  I had an idea in my head and wanted to see if I could work it out.  I began with the sketch from Techno Stamper.

She has a great Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge each week.  I thought it would be interesting to use the main image panel to stamp the tree from Paisley Prints on.  I began with a Night of Navy paper and stamped the tree first with Whisper White and embossed with white.  I varied the heights of the trees.  Next I stamped the tree again, this time with Silver and embossed with silver.  I mounted it on a piece of white and used sticky strip to apply a frame of the silver chunky glitter.

Next I used my pad and a sponge dauber to color my ribbon using Night of Navy.  I set it aside to dry.  When it was dry I added my ribbon and finished my card.  Here is my finished creation.

Don’t you just love this card!  I think it is so pretty.  Much better in real life.  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!
