Facebook Live Watercolor Using Touches of Texture

Happy Monday Everyone ~ are you ready to see my Facebook Live Watercolor Using Touches of Texture creation?

Well I am officially retired!  Friday was my last day to work at the college.  My contract ended at the end of June and since I will be moving we thought it best to not renew it.  That is fine so now I can spend more time creating!  I spent a lot of time in my craft room yesterday working on my catalog journey cards.  I am working on having a stash for when I finally move so that I will be able to have ideas for you.  I do not have any appointments this week so I should be able to make lots of creations.  I will continue working my way through the catalog so that you will have ideas for every stamp set I have.

On Friday’s I do a Facebook Live.  I try to find fun things to demonstrate during that time.  A few weeks ago I had a fun watercolor technique that I demonstrated.  I had played with it when I saw the idea and loved it so I decided to do it in my Facebook Live.  It is an easy technique but you do have to allow time for it to dry.  If you would like to see the technique, here is the video.  I would love to have you join me some Friday evening.

I realized a mistake I made when I did the card above and I explain what I did and what I should have done in the video.  Here is the card I made during the Facebook Live.

I also have a hint for adding the ribbon at the top.  I hope you enjoy my video and will plan on joining me this Friday.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I will be starting a new Facebook Group for Creations in Paper so that we can do more interacting.  The Facebook Business Page does not allow anyone to post but myself and I would love to have you guys share your tries at my cards.  I will let you know when I have it set up.  Have a Marvelous Monday and let me know what you think of my Facebook Live Watercolor Using Touches of Texture.

A wonderful water color card …love the stamp set you used and the color Scheme! Sorry I was ynBle to watch you live!

  2. Why does your card open on the wrong side? That is just crazy, are you trying to make the recipient of the card go crazy trying to open it?

    • It does not open on the wrong side in real life. I may need to flip my phone the other when recording. Sorry it was bothering you but I am glad you let me know so I can fix it before the next Facebook Live. Thanks again!
