Feminine Going Places

Hello Stampers – today we are going to make a feminine Going Places card.

Well it was an interesting day yesterday.  We went over and registered Zoie for Kindergarten.   How did we go from this

to this?

FYI – she has her own fashion sense and there is no changing her mind!

It just seems like it was yesterday that I witnessed her birth!  Now she is starting a new chapter in her life.  Life is going too fast and I so wish I could slow it down!

I did manage to get my walk in.  I went earlier than I usually do as the weather had rain moving in.  I ended up walking the last half of my walk in the rain but at least I got it in.

Today I am sharing another card I made using the Going Places ds paper.  This paper is designed to be masculine, but today I show you how you can use it for a feminine card.

I began with the green grid paper and cut it to card front size.  I attached it to a Very Vanilla card base.  Now it was time for embellishing!  I pulled out my Botanical Builder framelits and cut out some flowers and leaf sprays.  I also punch some of my favorite flowers using my itty bitty flower punch.  I sponged all the edges of the flowers and then started layering them.  When I had my flowers assembled, I decided on the placement on my card front.  I attached the leaf sprays to the large flower and then added the flowers to my card base.  It was a little bare so I decided to add a sentiment.  To add some interest to the sentiment layer, I punched the ends using the Curvy Corner Trio punch.  It  was added to my card base with dimensionals.  To finish off the sentiment I add another of those adorable little flowers.  The final task is to add my rhinestones.  Here is what my completed card looks like.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am headed to a graduation party today.  What fun plans do you have?  Have a Super Saturday and what Feminine Going Places card could you create?
