Forever Blossoms Friend

Hello Everyone ~ I have a quick and easy Forever Blossoms Friend creation to share with you today.

After my scheduled commitments yesterday I spent some time cutting up sheets to give to the ladies who are sewing masks in our neighborhood.  The ladies have made over 1,000 masks that they have donated to various doctor’s offices, nursing homes, hospitals in our area.  Now they are sewing masks to send to New York for the health care workers to wear under their regular approved masks.  This will give them an extra layer of protection since they have to wear those masks several days due to the shortage.  We have a fabulous community here!  Today I have the HVAC company coming to service my equipment.  I have been in my house a year so I needed to set up something to ensure my heating and cooling systems.  I will also be working in my craft room.  I have a couple of projects I want to work on.

Yesterday I told you about a new suite that will be available in the upcoming annual catalog.  I have ordered this suite and can’t wait for it to get here.  This suite is gorgeous and I can’t wait to play with it.  Here is a video showing you the different elements of this suite!

Today’s creation is a simple card but very pretty.  I began with a Balmy Blue card base.  I embossed the front using the Subtle embossing folder.  A piece of Crumb Cake card stock was cut using the Nature’s Thoughts dies.  Some of the flowers from the Forever Blossoms stamp set were stamped using the Balmy Blue ink.  I also stamped some of the leaves using Granny Apple Green ink.  I used my pencils to color the images in and then the coordinating dies were used to cut them out.  The leaves were added to the flowers using glue dots and then they were clustered on the Crumb Cake panel using dimensionals.  The sentiment is in the Forever Blossoms stamp set and I stamped it using Early Espresso ink.  The Whisper White crinkled seam binding was wrapped around the top and a bow was added.  This panel was attached to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Forever Blossoms Friend creation.

This is a pretty card and perfect to send to that special friend. Get the details for the Forever Blossoms Friend creation so you can make your version!
