Hello Everyone ~ I played with foiling on my Forever Blossoms Simply Wonderful creation.
I got my 2 phone calls in and still had time to play with the Ornate Garden stamp set. I made 2 cards! I am still getting to know this great suite but will be sharing lots of ideas with you over the next few weeks. You can order these products now and not have to wait until June when the new annual catalog comes out! If you want to play with these beautiful products, make sure you order yours. If you need help placing an order let me know! If your order is under $150 use this host code ~ ZCQYGJAQ. If anyone places an order of at least $50 I will send you a little gift from me!
Today’s card used a technique I have been wanting to do for some time. I love the look of foiling on cards. I do not have a foiling machine nor laminator. I saw several videos where they used double sided tape. I decided to give it a try. I cut a Whisper White panel to 3 3/8″ x 5 1/4″. I then stamped my flowers and leaves then used the faux watercolor technique to color them in. I applied a 1/8″ strip of double sided tape to the bottom of the panel. After removing the backing, I applied the foil sheet over top the tape. The foil sheet was carefully pulled off the panel and the foil stuck to the double sided tape. I used a sentiment from Bloom and Grow and stamped it in the center. To the card base of Coastal Cabana I stamped the Crackle background on the lower front edge. The image panel was then added to the card front. To finish the card I added some rhinestones. Here is the completed Forever Blossoms Simple Wonderful creation.

If you have the crackle background stamp, here is an idea for a card where the background is very subtle. Here is another idea for a card that uses the same adorable flowers as on today’s card. Another image from this set is perfect for Faux Watercoloring as you can see in this card.
